A Melbourne woman has caused outrage after apparently doing the *SIGN* *OF*

coronavirus checkpoint in Victoria while refusing to answer questions from
police.

In a video posted to Facebook, Eve Black is seen behind the wheel of a
vehicle as she appears to travel towards a police checkpoint.
Upon stopping, a police officer is heard asking Black her reason for
travelling, to which she responds: “Have I disturbed the peace?”
“No,” the police officer can be heard answering. “I’m just asking what your
reason for travelling is.”
Instead of sharing the information, Black says: “Well, I don’t need to tell
you that. I don’t know you.”
“So where have you come from today,” the officer responds, to which Black
says: “I don’t need to answer your questions”.
“Have I committed a crime?” she’s then heard asking the officer.
The checkpoint police officer then stops asking questions and tells Black
she can keep going through the checkpoint.
After driving off, Black appears ecstatic, celebrating her apparent
achievement.

Upon posting the video to Facebook, Black said she was “nervous as heck,

The road is closed in both directions and a detour is currently in place at
Buchan-Ensay Road.
Vic Roads and emergency services are at the scene to assess the area, clear
the debris and make it safe for the road to re-open.

and believe it will take at least a couple of days to clear the road.
